SynopsisEdit

Five friends--Dana, Marty, Jules, Curt and Holden--go for a break at a remote cabin in the woods. Unknowingly observed by a group of scientists, the group ignores the strange happenings going on around them as they party and have fun. The cellar door mysteriously opens and the group enters to find an odd assortment of relics. Dana reads a Latin verse from one of the old books, unwittingly summoning a family of killer zombies. Curt and Jules venture into the woods and the scientists alter the environment to make them want to have sex. While they're distracted, the zombies attack them and kill Jules. Meanwhile, Marty finds a secret video camera used by the scientists to monitor the cabin. He is attacked by a zombie and presumably killed. Holden, Dana and Curt attempt to flee the cabin in their R.V., but the scientists block the only exit with a landslide. Curt attempts to jump the cavern separating them from the exit with his dirt bike. He slams into the invisible force field, which kills him instantly. Later Holden is also killed. While Dana fights for her life against one of the zombies, the scientist group prematurely celebrates that the "ritual" is finished. However, Dana is suddenly saved by Marty. The two find a way to enter the scientist facility and release a hoard of creatures into the labs, presumably killing everyone. Dana and Marty share a joint just before the evil spirit that the ritual was supposed to prevent from escaping its prison breaks free, destroying the labs and the cabin. [1]
